Abraham Del Rio
Managing Partner & Senior Instructor | NRA-Certified
Abraham "Abe" Del Rio is the Managing Partner and Senior Instructor of Del Rio Protective Services, LLC. As an NRA-certified instructor and OPOTA-certified security officer, Abe brings extensive expertise to his students and clients.
Abe's journey began by teaching Ohio CCW classes in both English and Spanish. He soon expanded his services to include private security for various events, such as weddings, corporate functions, and concerts. Del Rio Protective Services, LLC also provides security for construction sites, properties, and city-organized public events.
In addition to his security expertise, Abe has provided counseling services to churches, synagogues, and mosques. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University and a post-graduate certificate in International Business from the Thunderbird School.
Abe's impressive resume is rounded out by his service in the United States Marine Corps. His unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and security knowledge makes him a trusted authority in his field.

Josh Del Rio
Operations Director & Assistant Instructor | NRA-Certified
Josh Del Rio serves as Director of Operations for Del Rio Protective Services LLC. A graduate of Cleveland State University's mechanical engineering program, Josh brings technical expertise to his role.
With over 15 years of firearms experience, Josh is a certified NRA instructor trained in rifles, shotguns, and pistols. He is also OPOTA certified, complemented by extensive experience in private security.

General Counsel & Qualifying Agent
Abraham Del Rio, III, is the General Counsel and Qualifying Agent at Del Rio Protective Services, LLC. He earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from Regent University School of Law and studied abroad at the University of Strasbourg, specializing in comparative criminal procedure. Del Rio’s legal experience includes serving as a Magistrate for the 12th Judicial District of Virginia, working in private practice with a focus on criminal law at both the state and federal levels, and serving as a former prosecutor for Cuyahoga County. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Ohio and holds PISGS endorsements for semi-automatic firearms and shotguns, underscoring his diverse legal and professional expertise.

Daniel Del Rio
Director of Safety and Medical Training
Daniel Del Rio brings experience and expertise to the role of Director of Safety and Medical Training, combining a robust healthcare background with a strong foundation in security and leadership.
With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Biology from Cleveland State University, Daniel has over 10 years of experience as a registered nurse specializing in acute and outpatient care. He is certified in both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). This diverse medical background equips Daniel with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and implement comprehensive safety and medical preparedness plans.
A proud member of the Air Force Reserves for nine years, Daniel currently holds the rank of Major. During this time, Daniel has demonstrated exceptional dedication and discipline, earning the prestigious Air Force Small Arms Expert award and Air Force Commendation Medal. These accomplishments reflect Daniel's commitment to excellence and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
In addition to medical expertise, Daniel is OPOTA certified, with significant security experience managing large and small events. This unique combination of medical and security credentials provides a holistic approach to safety, ensuring preparedness in diverse situations.
